Vinna Villaluz, Jonathan Orbuda, Erwin Calibo : on proposal defense for their thesis

Posted by Benedick.Ramos on 2:26 AM

That was the first time of my Group to face in front of the panelist,

the night before of the defense we practice a mock defense and we finished 11 pm

march 8,2010 vinna villaluz went early in the university to facilitate the venue and to follow up for the equipments needed

erwin calibo is the responsible on buying the foods and token for gratitude

9 am is the start of the event, we really felt nervous yet we are confident that we can make it.

panelist are

mrs shellanie dacumos for english critics
mrs ulat for statistics
mrs gabriel as a chairman

our thesis adviser is mr. aldrin boca

our thesis title is the logistic management in granspan corp calendar year 2010

during the defense mr boca was late thats why we are not aware that the suggestions of the panel are for our good and we thought that they were just distructed for the three of us thats why we really defend our study and we didnt accept any corrections from the panelist.

The paradox of that scenario is we really fight until the end but when mr boca arrived he told us that any suggestion will do. The panelist laugh and that was embarassing moment.

at least we learned

over all we are disappointed because the title was change but the good thing is sir boca told us that our paper became execellent. so we considered that as a positive thing.

maam gabriel gave us 1.8
maam ulat gave us 1.4
maam dacumos gave us 1.6
the mean is 1.6

University of Rizal System Binangonan : CBC street dance review

Posted by Benedick.Ramos on 3:56 AM

In celebration of URSB’s college of business and commerce day, aside from the visit of Miss. Gladys Reyes as a speaker, the most awaited part of that event is the street dance competition.

Here are my reviews:

Freshmen Bachelor of Science in business administration:

That was intensifying hip hop routine from the first year. They wore white shirt and blue jeans. Their routine was strong because the girls move was like a boys move. Even if that was not the right genre for street dance yet the first year level proved that they can fight.

Marketing Group:

That was great performance. They did a breathtaking stunt that made the judges horrified. The dangerous act made the audience scared. The lifting is very sharp, their dress are very fashionable. They really put an effort towards their costumes and make ups and it reflects on the materials they used. There make up made them animalistic. But the whole production is meaningless yet technically they danced very well.

Management Group:

Another Hip hop routine was performed by the managing team. The blue color theme made visually cool accent. Their music was great. Various music were mix to configure the whole one. The transition from one music to another one is very smooth.

Economics Group

Economics major have only 28 students for this school year including the 3rd year and 4rth year. All of them are required to participate because of less number. Even if you cant dance well you are obliged to join or else the president of economics will not signed their clearance. How tough!!

By the way you had a nice outfit. It reflects under the heat of the sun. But the dance it self is not competitive yet they just enjoy it

BS office administration team

That was excellent performance. They really hit the right genre of street dancing. There music is very festive. They had innumerable formations and blockings. They put an effort towards their bee’s theme costumes and props. No wander, they won the 2nd place. Congrats to you guys!!

BS accountancy

Their routine was a jazz inspired, nice costume and the dancers are all flexible to execute such tumbling and more. But their tracks hinds their performance .the tracks stops in the middle of the performance. The track affects the momentum of the performers because music really plays a huge role in performance. It spices up the production.

The routine was already performed last year even the choreography and music are still the same. And we cannot avoid comparing it between the last one and current performance which is better

Banking and finance team:

That was meaning full routine. They used to wear a color coded shirts that represent the colors of the various candidates for the Philippines election. They also adopt the concept of the CEBU inmates. Yet their music also hinds the performance. in the middle of the fight. But still they won the first place. Nest time bring a back up tracks

I AM NOW WELL EQUIPPED TO FACE THE CORPORATE WORLD

Posted by Benedick.Ramos on 5:47 AM

I will not regret that i am a student in University of Rizal System. I am proud that i am a product of a state college.

As part of University of Rizal system Binangonan Campus, now i proved to myself the saying that it's not the name of the school that will bring you up, its you who bring the school to the top.

i learned that philosophy from my idol Loyd Luna, he came from PUP but look at him now. He was able to negotiate the high profiled persons in the Philippines

We all knew that being a student in a state college is not that competitive when it comes to facilities and ventilation yet the URSBian proved that its not the hindrance to become competitive mentally, and one proof of that is Mr.Cabarles who is top 2 in the CPA board exam. He swept down those board examiners who came from expensive private universities and colleges . Now it made me proud being a part of this affordable yet competitive producer of value laden graduates.

Well, thats the nature of human. When you suffered from poverty, you work your dream for a changes. I admired the students of URS binangonan because despite of various difficulties in study, they ignored it and work on their strength not on their weaknesses.

Both the faculties, administration, and students worked and helped each other to achieve for the best.

all i can say :

If you ask me am i ready. well my answer is i am ready enough to face the corporate world having the weapon and capacity level which URSB gave to me. One year from now , i can visualized my self working in a corporation and visiting my professors in my University.

I will not regret that i am a student in University of Rizal System. I am proud that i am a product of a state college.

The Start of Year 2010 with the Grade of Flat 1

Posted by Benedick.Ramos on 3:05 AM

While writing this Blog , I’m a bit drunk and dizzy because of the Victory Celebration

(blog unedited and not yet proof read)

January 5, 2010 is the start of class for the year in University of Rizal System Binangonan Campus. Every URSBian are excited for the first day of the class from a long vacation. Including the Economics student are very excited, it’s not because of the first day of the class but because it’s the day that we are going to defense the title for our thesis. The two weeks of vacation became a productive days because we keep doing research for the background of the study.

Moreover, I woke up 11:00 am and preparing to go to school. I leave the house at exactly 12:00Am. When I arrived at the school, I took first my lunch at the campus canteen. “This gonna be the best thing day” I said it to my self. I have to be optimistic and think positively because it’s the day for the title defense

Vinna Villalus, Geronimo Pasay, Erwin Calibo, and I are the group mates for the thesis. Our proposal title is “Logistic Management as relates to supply chain efficiency”. The first step at the entrance of the conference hall is a challenge to the four of us. It was like a horrifying movie that made you scared. Before I went inside I did a sign of cross as a lucky charm. We really pray that we can do the challenge, because we knew that the panels are strict in giving grades. When the discussion started, I am the one begin the said event. Various questions were asked to the group. Later on they discuss it discreetly about the topic. The panels are Mr. Aldrin Boca. Mr. Eusebio Oliva and Mrs. Fernandez. After they discussed gave the prospect Company and the revised title was “Logistic Managements of San Miguel beer Corp. in San Miguel Drive, Ortigas, Pasig City Calendar year 2010”. And luckily they gave us the Grade of Flat one.

The other group is composed of Heather Balmas, Iomerta Dalama, Felyx Esperitu, Leeboy Aringo. And they also got flat one with their title.

Right after the defense, we went to Kamatsili drive to celebrate for the Victory. We drink a lot. “A lucky start of the year and I hope it will continue to the entire year”
