Gino Quintana (third from left), having made a name in showbiz (Indie films) for quite some time now, conquered the stage and took home the 2010 Mr. Globe Philippines title in a pageant held last night (07/03/10) at the Ballroom of Pearl Manila Hotel in Manila. Rounding up the winners were (L-R) Clark Campbell, Mr. Globe Mindanao; Darlito dela Cruz, Mr. Globe Luzon; and Paolo Sarmiento (aka Enrico in Heatwave Bikini Showdown), Mr. Globe Visayas.

MR. GLOBE PHILIPPINES 2010 Finals: Announcement of Winners

'Backstage' Announcement of Grand Winners in Miss World fashion circa 50s, 60s and 70s in Swimsuits, anyone?... if Eric Morley was still alive, what would he say? Haha!!!
First was World, then Earth, and now, Mr. Globe Philippines had just ended and crowned its 6th winner in the person of Indie prince Gino Quintana. Are these high testosterone dynamo-charged pageants ever gonna end? Certainly not! No one's complaining, 'aarte pa ba?'! We would like to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to Mr. Jimmy Escala, Mr. Terry Baylosis, Dr. Lito Manzano, Ricky Ramos, and surely not the least, well-admired and highly-respected Cebu-based fashion designer Harley "Lee" Ruedas for the invite. Indeed cash prizes were handed out right at the awarding, you guys are cool!!! Bravo!! TV host Boy Abunda has done it again when he interviewed the semifinalists in the recently concluded 2010 MR. GLOBE PHILIPPINES Finals held at Pearl Manila ... but wait, ... one of the finalists Hotel seemed to have something up his sleeve... much to his surprise and to the delight of the audience! LOL!
