At the Top 5 Q&A portion of Man of the Year 2010 held last June 17th, Aficionado CEO Joel Cruz asked each finalist the same question that ran along the topic of "universal creation". Here's how the Top 5 answered it: Christian Galang, Paolo Sarmiento, Kenneth Paul Salva, John Louie Fernandez, and Jolo Garcia (in order of how they appeared onstage coming from a sound-insulated room backstage).
22 contestants of this decade-long male pageant are competing for the 3 titles: MAN OF THE YEAR PHILIPPINES 2010, MAN OF THE YEAR TURISMO, and MAN OF THE YEAR METROMANILA. Mr. Chito Alcid, known in the movie industry for many years as talent manager and TV producer has been running the pageant since 2005 and also the force behind Miss Gay Philippines Beauty Pageant.
